Inventory Registration

In order to prepare a project for the generation of carbon credits, it needs to follow principles that allow the precise measurement, reporting and verification of the level of ecosystem service being provided. This MRV system is what will make it possible to identify the service demander, the quantity and value of the carbon credits he needs.

PNBSAE has a regulated process for registering existing methodologies from regulatory and voluntary markets that have been submitted for registration, verified and made available to users. In the case of carbon buyers, the registration of the GHG emissions inventory is what signals the interested party's entry into the market. The document informs about the availability of activity for the development of a carbon offset / neutralization project, stating the type, duration and amount of tCO2eq.

Inventory Registration Form

The GHG emissions inventory presented must follow the guidelines of the GHG Protocol Brazil program or the ISO 14064 standards. The documents required for recording the emissions inventory are:

  1. Corporate GHG Emissions Inventory;
  2. ART of responsible professional;
  3. Proof of ownership documents, maps and sketches;
  4. Declaration of Respect for Stakeholders;
  5. Declaration of Respect for Human Rights;
  6. Declaration of Respect for the Rule of Law;
  7. Declaration of Respect for International Standards of Behavior;
  8. Declaration of Adherence to Ethical Behavior;
  9. Request for registration of GHG emissions inventory;
  10. Registration fee collection;
  11. Audit Report approving the GHG emissions inventory for registration.
