Tool designed by Instituto Ação Verde facilitates creation and validation of the Rural Environmental Registry in Mato Grosso

A partnership between Instituto Ação Verde, associations from the productive sector and the State Government guaranteed, in an agreement signed this Wednesday (07/07), access to a fully digital platform that was developed to assist in the preparation of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR).

In order to enable the environmental and economic planning of the use and occupation of the rural property, that is, to ensure environmental compliance for the owner, registration in the CAR will be facilitated and less prone to errors when filed at Sema, with the support program that in the future will be made available online.

As highlighted by the president of Instituto Ação Verde and director of the Federation of Industries of Mato Grosso (Fiemt), Adilson Valera Ruiz, the link created between the State Government, the productive sector and the institute is important.

“The credibility created between the links was what identified the need to develop the platform, because it reflects on sustainability. With the tool, the technician together with the farmer will be able to visualize the problems and advantages of the analyzed area”, said the president.

With the technological support provided by the CAR, the technicians in charge will be able to act immediately in solving problems. The platform disseminates and catalogs the images, with the help of some editing tools, available to the engineer in charge.

“This is a tool that will show the technician, the farmer, and all those interested, what should be done in the area. And this registration will be very important for us to reach more market from now on”, says Adilson Valera Ruiz.

The meeting to sign the service order was conducted by the chief secretary of the Civil House of Mato Grosso, Mauro Carvalho and the secretary of State for the Environment (Sema), Mauren Lazzaretti.

The secretary highlighted the importance and evolution that the State will have with the implementation of the project. “This is a new step in the history of Mato Grosso and will certainly serve as a great example for other states”, he assesses.

Carvalho also considered the sustainability message that will be recorded with the implementation of the technological apparatus. “This is the legacy we want to make. Bring fiscal, legal, environmental security, focused precisely on the sustainability that the tool will provide us”.

Also participating in the meeting were the person responsible for the sustainability and competitiveness sector at Fiemt, Álvaro Leite, the vice president of the Association of Soy and Corn Producers of the State of Mato Grosso (Aprosoja), Lucas Costa Beber, the president of the Center for Producer Industries and Wood Exporters from the State of Mato Grosso (Cipem), Rafael Masson and the president of the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove), André Nassar.

The platform, which aims to provide subsidies, facilities and productivity tools for those who carry out the CAR and those who analyze it, will be available for use in about 60 days, according to the president of Ação Verde.
